Achievements and hopes

To me, life is a gift that should never be taken lightly. Having any kind of opportunity and grabbing it wisely and working hard to get  is an achievement. Education has been my greatest achievement till today. Starting from early days at school I was fond of reading novels and drama's; staying back a long period at library  reading  books helped me to improve on my pubic speaking as well on  reading skills. Participating from school days to college on various programs whether it was on oratory, spelling or debate competition helped me to build my confident level and skills; during my +2 I even stood 3rd on annual debate inter college. Well one of my other great achievement is  my first job when I got to work as an intern on business development recently  here on Islington college where I really had a good experience of a lifetime by learning to deal with critical situation and got an opportunity to even improve  my oratory skills.

Studying as a computing student for three year I would expect to learn a lot whether it is academic or non academic, a better lesson for my future from both my teachers as well as my seniors. Learning how to lead a group on projects, to make and give better presentation and  taking programming language on a whole new level are mine expectation.
I really have high hopes from me that I can accomplish my  Final Year Project and get a first class Honours degree. Getting many good opportunities to prove myself which would help me to on my carer latter at the end of my bachelors program I hope that standing high and presenting myself as a complete packet of IT product who is good at web designing or on programming and solving any problem that is kept in front of me would be my biggest hope as well as achievements.

First Blog

Life as a teenager seems really difficult to us. Rather studying or being carrier oriented we would just love to  be free all the time. Well I was no stranger as any  other common teen; always trying  to fool around by Playing online games or going out for movies was my favorite hobbies. My mom was a bit concerned about me for not being serious towards my future. She always wanted me to get a better education; she even requested me several times to get my bachelors degree from a foreign university.

My keen interest was always on computers and games. so just one day when I was watching a movie in QFX I saw an advertisement of Islington college was providing us London Metropolitan universities  degree. So decide to take a visit than I visited the college; by taking hours of counseling I was really fascinated of what this college is willing to provide us. Under the affiliation of  LMU  this college was providing best education on Nepal for students. Some of the reasons that made me join the colleges are
1) providing BIT  HONS degree
2) giving 480 credits for 4years
3) Full time London Metropolitan studies
4) Industries project
5) Professional and best teaching faculties
6) Best teaching gadgets and materials

After knowing a lot about the college I only had one question in my mind. coming from a management background without having any knowledge of computers could I study. They told I would be briefed from the basics itself .
So rushing back home I said to my mother that "I wanted to study about IT and I would get a LMU degree" so  after explaining her the reasons  she decided to visit  the college and she loved it what Islington college was offering to us.

It has already been one whole year since I joined the college. I just love the whole education system plus being a part of London metropolitan universities student is the best thing ever happened to me.
